Volunteer

Volunteers are an essential component to the Reception House team. Each year our volunteers provide over 1,200 hours of service. Through their hard work and dedication they help to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable environment for the refugees.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance in response to residents’ need as they arise
• Administrative assistance: file data, updating database, maintenance of files and records etc.
• Escorting clients to community services
